UNIVERSAL JET BOAT RAIL KIT ASSEMBLY

Our Universal Rail Kit allows you to make installation and removal of the engine in your boat a breeze. Requiring only 4 bolts for the removal of the engine and providing a place for the motor plates to sit on while aligning the engine. No more aligning holes in a 4 point mount and getting it just right to slide the engine into place. Our kit comes complete with everything you need to install the rails in your boat, hardware included. The rails are designed so you can use them for either a big block Ford or a big block Chevy. The holes in the rails are slotted to provide the tolerance needed for the two different style engines as well as a small amount of adjustment once the engine is in place (~1/4″ each way). This allows you to not have to get the rails exactly perfect forward and back in the boat, just get them within about 1/4″ and you’ll be able to slide the engine the difference. The rails are made of  2″ X 2″ x 1/4″ 6063 structural aluminum, the stringer backers are made of 5052 sheet aluminum and the feet are made of 6061-T6 aluminum. When properly installed this kit should provide you with years of trouble free usage and service. You have the choice of either stringer backer plates or a kit of 8 of our “Beast” Stringer Washers.
